star wars vs. Madvillainy 2: The Box

sieht so aus, als hätte sich stones throw einen dezenten relaunch geleistet… und ein goodie.

wenn sich george lucas erlaubt, an seinem star wars herum zu schrauben und den film neu editiert, dann darf das auch madlib mit dem madvillain klassiker. herausgekommen ist ein remixalbum, das es nur digiital oder über die seite zu bestellen gibt. und so wird sich beanut butter wolf gedacht haben, wir verpacken das ganze wunderschön und geben eine menge goodies für zahlungkräftige sammler aus japan dazu. aber ehrlich jetzt, die box ist wirklich  geworden. das ist alles dabei:

1. CD Madvillainy “2” The Madlib Remix. 25 tracks. Read more below.
2. 7″ “One Beer (Drunk Version)” Madlib’s original 2004 version, lost until recently on the floor of his Bomb Shelter studio. If you saw the studio you’d understand.
3. Cassette The Madvillainy Demo Tape. 12 tracks, 36 minutes. This is the first and only official release of the infamous Madvillain demo that “leaked into cyberspace,” while the album was still in progress, as DOOM alludes to in the lyrics of “Rhinestone Cowboy.”
4. T-Shirt Nominated. Best Rolled L’s. Madvillain shirt.
5. Comic book Meanwhile… the continuation of the All Caps video, included with the CD.
6. The Box 12×13x3 inches. Wrapped in silver like a mask.
