das ist wahrscheinlich einer der grössten freuden, die man mir machen kann. das mesage magazin hat aus der privatsammlung von werner geier das legendäre konzert von pete rock & cl smooth auf soundcloud veröffentlicht.
das konzert fand im rahmen des tribe vibes & dope beats contest statt. dieser contest war im grunde der anlass total chaos zu gründen. es war mein erstes mal in wien und da wir niemanden in dieser stadt gekannt haben (geschweige denn einen platz zum schlafen gehabt haben) hat uns dj dsl bei sich auf der couch schlafen lassen. wie wichtig dieser contest damals war, zeit wie viele leute damals schon dabei waren, die immer noch aktiv sind. beim contest finale im volksgaretn hatten wir leute wie megablast, functionist, shadee, peter kruder und rodney hunter kennen gelernt.
ab minute 17 gibt es ein dj showcase von pete rock. für mich noch unvergesslicher als das konzert am abend war es, pete rock beim soundcheck zusehen zu können…
